Pointing refers to the domain name remaining where it currently is registered, but making a few DNS changes in order for the domain to display on the new server where we’ve designed the website once the site is live. This is the preferred option when you have a more complicated email setup with many users or users in different parts of the country. For domain pointing, login details to the hosting provider is needed, or a contact person to get in touch with.
